What Does It Mean to Reclaim Non-Sexual Intimacy?
Glennon: We've done such a terrible job of sexualizing our vision of what intimacy is and what love is to the point where when somebody says love is love we know that they're talking about sex. Glennon: Our culture doesn't kind of really conceive of the notion of non-sexual physical intimacy as though historically internationally you would see is might does make it harder for us to actually world other contexts in which we experience that intimacy. The church could be part of the answer to the crisis of friendship by modeling something beautiful to the world around us, he said.
