The Importance of Visiting the Holy Land

You don't have to visit Jerusalem in order to encounter Holy Land. You just go where Christ is. It'd be cool to visit the Holy Land, but it's not a sacrament to do so. Even though we might have some sort of experience there because we are close to where these things actually happened, it's just an experience. God has not promised that he has placed himself there for us. He's placed himself in his worries place himself in the waters of baptism in the Lord's Supper and all of these these places where he's promised to be for you. That's where we have the encounter with a loving and a gracious and a forgivingGod.
