Jim Simon started trading currencies in 1978. He recruited Lenny Baum, who is famous for her algorithm. Many of the mathematicians he brought on board had no interest in investing. It took him a while to figure out how to work with people that didn't trade their own currency. Greg says there's more order than we imagine in the markets.
