How to Be a Successful Bug Bounty Hunter

There must be some intense competition for bug bounty, for finding bugs in those kind of things. Are you a competitor to a bug hunter yourself? I used to be very competitive but I don't have the energy. But earlier there was a gamification. It's a good bragging right. It gives you more opportunities. Not doesn't mean much in the real world other than just gamifying it and making it competitive.
