Brent: It's not that obvious that we know as much as we might think we do when you're not looking at a red object then what's it like to see red. We have some vague memory of it and we can provide it some some kind of description of it but we don't have knowledge of what it's like to be red or to be a pain When we're not in that state ourselves there's a new something new work on pain which is said how extraordinary it is how difficult it is to reimagine pain to know what it'slike when we're not in it.
