How to Prepare for an IELTS Writing Test

IELTS conducted a survey of exam takers and they asked which of the four tests that they offer, as in speaking, listening, reading or writing was the most challenging. Writing was the number one most difficult exam for students. So what I often tell students is you need to be really familiar with how you're going to be assessed in your writing test. There are four categories of assessment: task achievement, grammar, coherence and cohesion.
