How to Select and Back the Right Founders and CEOs

One of the most difficult things for motives is selecting and backing the right founders. What we look for in first and foremost is a team and a CEO that their teams are willing to follow with great enthusiasm. Great leaders create followership, so you can have a whole array of different styles. If you're only accepting money from motive because it's money, you're working with the wrong firm. And then the last thing that I would say is a conundrum: We look for on the one hand, people having the confidence to lead through uncertainty,. yet at the same time have the humility to know what they don't know.
