Stonehenge - The Most Famous Neolithic Monument
Stonehenge is the most famous neolithic monument of them all. It's built on a landscape that had been very important to people for at least four thousand, five thousand years before the stone started being erected. So it was part of a standing tradition when farm farmers arrived. They continued to respect paces that had been important religiously to people in the mesolithic times.
