The Value of Flexibility in Geothermal Power Plants

The reservoirs that we simulated during this work were not specially designed or enhanced in any way to make this storage possible. There was no deviation from what you would normally do to just create a EGS power plant in the subsurface at least. And so you're literally just taking advantage of the natural properties of a confined geothermal reservoir. So the value of flexibility is going to go way up.
