The Immediate Signs of Receiving the Spirit

Second blessing doctrine says you receive the spirit of salvation. That usually comes with an additional doctrine called initial physical evidence that you're saved because you have faith in Jesus. When it comes to being empowered by the spirit, I would point you to Ephesians chapter 5: "Don't be drunk with wine, but be being filled with the spirit" It's a continual act, an action of being filled and being encouraged with the spirit.
