How to Follow Up With Patients After Surgery

Sunny: Our first follow up with these patients is at two weeks after the procedure. If they're a local patient, we have them come back in the office and if they're more remoter for some convenience factor, we do follow up by telephone. And then following that, it's usually three months, six months, and then yearly after that. After about a four week period, we generally will see the patients have had a significant improvement from the procedure. Sunny: For the patients that were referred to me by UNC urology, I have them follow up with UNC urology. Are these your systems similar? I think so.
