Introduction

I think Beijing wants to dominate in every single sphere. I mean, what China is truly up to is dominating and controlling the Indo-Pacific region. And as the stated goal replaced the United States as a world's global leader, it achieved this domination. So when they're intimidating, coercing Taiwan, what they want them to do is capitulate, reunify, without ever having to fire a shot. That's why that campaign is so aggressive. You see them building islands in the South China Sea and then claiming sovereignty over the South China sea. What is that all about? That's all about domination of the Indo- Pacific region. It's not friendly competition.
