I can't even imagine what it would be like to get all the owners of data into a room to negotiate some kind of reward system. I think we might be better off in a world where these assets were all aggregated and you just paid for a subscription. The big critique of advertising based business model is that it's just so limiting. We still haven't really understood or adapted to how digital works, he says.
