The History of Islam and Judaism

In your book, you talk about the mutually beneficial pragmatism that christian and moslem leaders exhibited. But can you give us any sort of broad brush observations on how the two religions interacted? There are always moslems living in what we would call mediaeval europe. So we cannot tell the story of mediaevalEurope without the story of islam. And the same is true with judaism as well. That there are many different kinds of both o strict wa things we might identify as sects within faith,. Different kinds of, different kinds of islam, different ideas about what it means to be a jew.
