The more you stay in these awkward postures, the more likely it is to have a negative effect on your body. Stop looking at the screen. Look at something 20 feet away, focus on that. Blink a increase that blink rate. Those are good habits to get into, regardless of where we're working. Don't be too hard on yourself. If your work station isn't perfect, don't fret about it in a way that puts you or puts yourself in more stress.
