How a Psychic Predicts the Future
The psychic has a mental model for what you might be like as a person and the kinds of things that you might like to hear. For example, with a young person going in to get their fortune told, they might talk about how you'll find love when you go off to college. That's kind of what your mom is doing with her models and predictions at work too. She's using math to analyze those numbers and try to see what will happen in the future.
