Is Your Mind Set Getting in the Way?

A lot of companies think about marketing in a time window that's sales related. And the trajectory of marketing when you do it well, is going to go away faster than scaling your sal steam. So i would attribute this to a short term mind set. It's an obsession with measuring stuff at the executive level,. Weeding metrics that make you feel nice, but don't actually usually map o what you're doing. Lastly, is purely based on the mind set. When i do marketing, i'd play n an infinite game. I'm more interested in that c m o doing what i say and going and telling ten other c m os.
