The case was closed back in 19 83, but Oscar reopens it with new evidence. In one of the department's archives investigators discover a black notebook from just a year before timothy's death. It becomes clear that these are the notes of an officer who had gone under cover in the local chapter of the cu klux clan to basically get a sense of what they were up to.
