The Importance of Independent Thinking

I'd like to let you go back to something within that little passage that I read from you, which is the notion of imagination. What it is when people are thinking with those conventional categories, they see the world and they divide up the world the same way everybody else does. In fact, it's not thinking at all. To think independently, one needs to actually have gone through and challenged thought through what those categories are. And this means moving beyond authority, just because somebody with the market says it, it means moving beyond the conventional categories. It means moving beyond herd thinking to where you're thinking what you're thinking because you've sought it through and that’s what you think
