Isabella Guzman's Case for Freedom

Isabella Guzman was found not guilty by reason of insanity in the stabbing death of her mother. She has remained at a mental hospital where she is now allowed to attend group therapy sessions but must wear a GPS tracking device when doing so. In 2015, Isabella also claimed that she was sexually assaulted in a closet by an employee at the mental hospital. The incident was reported to the police but didn't reach the district attorney until 2021 because too much time had passed.
