The Power of Questioning Our Drinking

Our society, because it's no longer safe to question our drinking at the early stages, encourages that denial. When I stopped drinking, my mother-in-law looked at me and she said, I've never even seen you drunk. You can stop drinking without having had a problem. That fires me up so much because the only people who stopped drinking have a problem. We don't have to be alcoholics, we don't even have to drink every night, we don’t even have to get drunk.
