I was one of these yuguslov army, stationed in lublana. And the strict order was, we cannot shoot, only in self defence. But there was already quite a lot of espionage and counter espionare so i gast the slovinia leadership had some idea that they would probably be restrained at this point. I remember that the sympathy was not necessarily with the slovinians in everywhere. Germany and austria pushed for slovinian recognition and cracias, but britain and the united states did not. They still actually publicly issued statements in support of the preservation of yugoslo federation.
