How to Make Money and Not Do Ranching

When he was 10 or 12 years old, Roger Ehrlich grew up on a cattle ranch in the middle of nowhere in Colorado. He asked his dad how to make money and not do ranching: "Well, you should go figure out how to makeMoney" His grandmother told him about Warren Buffett's stock-picking tips; that inspired him to get into finance. As an undergrad at Wharton, he started working with researchers who were already doing research as part of their studies. And then it became kind of more of a passion for him than anything else.
