The Challenges of Legacy Systems in Factoring

Many factoring facilities have legacy systems and equipment that may not be compatible with modern MES solutions. The OE model doesn't account for the failure mode, so you're still going to head start if you don't have something like this in place. I mean, at minimum, everyone's at least to the data highway plus level. There are still facilities out there that are that have basically no mechanism to talk to smart devices in the field.
