The WTO and the Pandemic

Tensions are there, we cannot deny that and maybe get him worse. The fact is what we see happening is the emergence of rival economic and trading blocs. If it was not for trade, you wouldn't have been able to get face masks from a social culture in one part of the world where they were needed. So you cannot say that trade broke down. There's absolutely no doubt that we saw that there are vulnerabilities in the way our global supply chains are built.
