But on the other hand, what's fascinating to read about him is that he seemed like a master strategist in any context that he was put into. And so he's constantly putting forward bold demands and then having to reel them back. He makes some, he wins some things and doesn't win others. She says she has always wanted to study "commanding heights," whether it's general motors or whether it's Walmart or whatever it is. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster next month.
