The Transformation of Peter

Peter was insecure because of what he denied Jesus. He didn't trust the Lord enough to give up his acute profession and income. What we are reading here in our text is not an initial call to follow Jesus. That was not the first call. So Jesus was calling Peter to go deeper to take the next step in his work with the Lord.
