DoD Cyber Workforce Qualification and Management Program
The Department of Defense issued DoD Manual 8140.03, the CyberSpace Workforce Qualification and Management Program on February 15th. The program provides a targeted role-based approach to identify, develop and qualify cyber personnel by leveraging the DoD Cyber Workforce framework. Simone Petrella is President of N2K Networks and CEO and Founder of CyberVista. She says there's not only going to be a fairly high burden for personnel to meet the requirements, but it was going to be an equivalent burden on the DoD to track this in a sustainable and scalable way.
