The Power of Unions

I hope that everyday workers and what's beautiful about this moment, Micah, and everybody to me is that workers are really challenging. The position holders in their unions right now and workers are forming new unions. A lot of workers are clear that there's been a set of unions choosing to lose for a long time. And it usually starts with challenging the position holders and their unions to turn their organization into the kind of organization that can do what just happened in Los Angeles which was 30%. They demanded a 30% raise. On the 24th of March, they just won a 30% rise for the lowest paid workers in Los Angeles Unified School District. That's what's exciting to me.
