Texas lost power when it got really cold outside because our grid wasn't made for that. Northern grids are more built for wintertime, but adding this extra demand during the summer means they're either going to be taxed and there could be issues associated with their operations or they need to be rebuilt. We don't only see a large increase in electricity during heat waves, but we'd see a general increase in electricity use because people are using them more often.
