How to Treat a Postural Puncture Headache
Most of the time these headaches will go away by themselves within two weeks but that's a long time to wait when you've got a newborn baby. So it really depends on how severe the headaches are. If the patient can't tolerate them doesn't want to put up with them we do have another option which is what we call a blood patch and this is reasonably successful. Between 50 to 80 percent of patients will get good relief within epidural blood patch.
