When a woman gets her period, she's considered impure. She would have to stop having any form of physical intimacy with her husband for two weeks. For me it was the opposit i used to look forward to getting my period cause i knew i would have that break. Once your period is finished, you have a seven days of checking yourself to make sure that you're clean. And then on th seventh day, in the evening, you would go to a ritual bath where you would er get undressed, be inspected by this female liqver attendant, and then dip your body, say a blessing. once you had done that ritual, you were alloin low to go home
