In December 1966, I go up to Paul Hersey and say, do you mind if I sit in your course next semester? In June 1967, he comes into my office. He said, they want me to write a book and I'm kind of a nervous wreck. But I've been looking for a good writer like you, which you write. And I said, wow, that'll really be fun. You're not supposed to write and neither am I. So we ended up writing a textbook. It came up a year or so ago in the 10th edition, probably fell more to date than it did then.
