Will Kellogg Died on December 14, 1943 in Battle Creek Michigan
In 1939 at age 79 will retire from everyday operations of the company but remained as chairman of the board. Will Kellogg in this company remained in battle creek though his relationship with his brother John was strained. He provided his community with the municipal auditorium in two schools on the youth center and the city's first airport. After John died will learn that years earlier John had written a letter toWill attempting to reopen their relationship. But John's secretary decided her employee had to mean himself and refused to send it. In 1951 he died at the age of 91 in battle creek Michigan on October 6, 1951. His name often appeared in news because of his involvement in charity projects.
