Victor Frankly's The Man's Search for Meaning says you can always choose your attitudes to the condition that is imposed on you. Touch, touch is essential. Your nightmare may be over, but your partner's nightmare is just beginning. Learn to receive it and accept that they do it for you - my ability to smoothing things in a relationship is most important. Do it because you care not because you agree with this thing or that thing. For me, it means nothing, but it means a heck of a lot about them.
