Climate Change in the Republic of the Congo

The population in the republic of congo is growing very fast. It's quadrupled over the last 50 years to reach five point six million people. Almost half the country is aged under 20. In this part of the world, the forces of rain and river water are immense. Tropical storms can reshape the landscape at a stroke. Building to resist natural disaster has always been a challenge here. But climate change is making it more acute.
