Is the Film a 'Victory'?

There are three main settings in the film. One is a fictitious but plausible island somewhere off the northern coast of scotland. There's also setting on the eastern rivers, the land of the rus. But the bulk of the films is set in iceland. I was very impressed that a northern island stands in for it very, very well withi abit of green screen work as well. A lot of the film actually shotin icelandand as you say, you really see that in these extraordinary landscapes. And volcanoes play a major role in the film as well, which is all i' say about that, but it's spectacular.
