In April of 2004, my first book trend following came out. That book has gone on to sell over 150,000 copies. See that first edition was not in the bookstores because I was an unknown author with no credibility. There was no borders bookshop. No bookstores were carrying it because I wasan unknown author withno credibility. But he introduced me to a guy named Jim Boyd at Pearson Financial Times, Prentice Hall. He went ahead and said, we will let you write this book, Trend Following. Tell us what it's roughly about. We'll give you $15,000 - but don't expect much money.
