The Difference Between the Bowling Average and Batting Average
We often define how good and all rounder is by the difference between the bowling average and batting average. Garfield sobers, 235 wickets at an average of 34.03, 8,032 runs at 57.78. Rob O'Neill concedes that the phrase difference to their era might mislead you into looking at someone who greatly changed their era. But I think you can also say that sobers did greatly change his era. He played for 20 years from 1954 to 74.
