The Emerging Line: How to Reduce the Impact of COVID-19

Sally Kohn: We are still in a moment where we could at the very least curtail a huge amount of suffering. But instead, she says, the conversation has shifted to kind of like two things. One is that economists think there's going to be a boom after COVID-19 and it will give people untapped spending power. And then on the other hand, this thing, which you mentioned, Phil, which is I think really important,  which is this emerging line, said Kohn. It doesn't matter if we don't do anything about COVID as long as it does one thing that we don't give a shit about.
