A lot of times people think about what we call like big tea trauma, right? Like I witnessed this catastrophic event. There's also little tea traumas, right? That can happen every day,. You know, witnessing someone die and having an illness is a little tea trauma. And so just providing psychoeducation to what trauma looks like and how it impacts us can really help to give someone a voice to recognize what they're experiencing," she says.
