No amount of fame, fortune or love could stop Kurt from killing himself if that is truly what he wanted to do. According to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, there are on average 123 suicides per day in the United States as of 2018. As of 2016, firearms accounted for 51% of those same suicides. Men are 3.5 times more likely to die by suicide than women.
