The Importance of Tracking Trend Followers
A hell of a lot more people describe themselves as trend followers and extend that to managed futures. And if there's no red ink, it's not trend following. If you see a track record that shows plus 1% for every month of the year, that scares me more than a track record That might show a minus 7% or a minus 8% a month. It's the plus 1% every month that should scare the bejesus out of you.
