How Trump Shared Classified Information With Russia
Matt Welch: It's not about the specifics of the information, but that it was shared at all. He says there may have been a level of detail in this conversation that even if you don't tell the Russians how they got this intel,. They can kind of reverse engineer it and figure that out. And like any power, knowing what people can collect is valuable intelligence. Welch: For a number of American allies in the Middle East, they don't see Russia as an ally or as a friend; we're now giving this information to the Russians.
