The Government Does Not Know How to Live

The government is just a collection of a couple million people who are going about their lives day to day. It does not have unique wisdom, it doesn't have unique knowledge or dance. And therefore, the people who want the government to tell you how to live are going to be disappointed in the results. The world isn't going to be transformed in the way that they want it. They believed too readily in the people for whom that rhetoric was catnip.
