The Myth of Democracy
The chances of them affecting at all the outcome of the political race is about zero. And then even if he does what they wanted to do, the chances of that actually improving the world are less than zero because it doesn't work that way. The whole thing is a compound myth. But our idea, we wouldn't be having this conversation if our idea had not evolved. Our mythology had not evolved so that we believed that we collectively, we believed in democracy,. We believed that we really do control government. Of course, that's not true. That's what government is. It is about brute force, finally at the end of the day and that's what it is.
