Do You Have to Turn Over the D Card?
The results that i'm talking about have been replicated for literally 50 years. Here's an example from logic. If a card has a d on one side, it must have a three on the other. People fail to realize you do have to turn over the seven carks. The psychological phenomenon is sometimes called base rate neglect. That is, people forget about the prevalence of the condition in the population as a whole and they just concentrate on a representative stereotype.
