The Importance of Taking a Global Perspective

Up until the 18th century, China was seen by the West as the beacon of everything that was good and wonderful. Taking a global view could help us to readjust and rebalance our narrative - but it's not part of mainstream history curriculum. A global perspective offers us a way out of parochialism, says Professor Andrew Keen.
