How McDonald's Went to War With the Dictionary

The Oxford English Dictionary and Marian Webster's collegiate dictionaries included the word mik job in their pages as kind of like a disparaging word for a low-paid job. McDonald's actually launched their own campaign to flip the term from a negative to a positive. They had this advertising campaign that used words like mik flexible and mik discount. And then, you know, they topped it off with the tagline, not bad for a mik job.
