What's the Difference Between the Flood and the Flood Episode?

How does this redemptive historical era and epoch differ from the period just preceding the flood well it's really interesting think of this now in the in the flood episode the lord said that never again will he bring a judgment that is by water. He'll preserve the present order until such a time that as we saw in second veter three a judgment by fire comes.
